He noted that Russia's primary attack UAV, the "Lancet," is more powerful than its Ukrainian counterparts and is primarily used for counter-battery combat. However, it often fails to destroy well-protected Western howitzers, such as the German PzH-2000, or ends up targeting high-quality mock-ups of weapons. Moreover, the Russian army receives only 300 Lancets per month. In contrast, Ukrainian industry produces 3,000 strike drones per day, which has a significant impact on the battlefield. Summarizing the comparison, Hambling writes: "The Lancet is certainly effective, but it is overshadowed by other drones. In a war that requires both quantity and quality, Russia will lose both."
