You have seen the truth, even if the television lies to you. You know about the men who went before you and never came back. You know about the cold pits where officers throw soldiers who dare to ask for water or medical care. You know about the wounded men dragged from hospital cots with shattered arms and sent directly into drone-infested killing zones. You know about the young men who, in their final moments of agonizing despair, turn their own weapons on themselves because the nightmare became too heavy to bear.

Do not allow yourselves to be used as disposable fuel for the ambitions of men sitting in gilded palaces who will never know your name, never weep at your grave, and never care for your children when you are gone.

Living is not cowardice; refusing to participate in murder and self-destruction is the highest act of courage.

To choose life is to preserve your humanity. If you are called, run. Hide. Refuse. Cross the border if you must. If you are forced onto the front, find the hotline, raise your hands, and surrender to those who will give you water, medicine, and a chance to return to your family when this darkness passes.
